Compliance lesson is about to begin. In this lesson, let’s learn about why Nu Skin prohibits Brand Affiliates from selling products through unauthorized channels --- auction websites.

Nu Skin’s business model is based on the communication and interaction between people. We hope through sharing Nu Skin's innovative and high-quality products and providing professional services to customers face to face, customers can comprehensively understand how to use the  Company products properly to achieve the best results and then introduce more friends to join Nu Skin business. However, with the rising popularity of the Internet, the Company has gradually allowed Brand Affiliates to share and promote the Company's products on social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube…etc) as long as they comply with Nu Skin’s Policies and Procedures.

Nevertheless, Nu Skin as always, strictly prohibits our Brand Affiliates from posting, promoting, and selling products on unauthorized sales channels, that is auction websites such as Carousell, Facebook Marketplace and Shopify. That is because selling products through the auction websites can only generate temporary sales performance and benefits, which is not helpful in Brand Affiliates’ business development in the long run and may even indirectly and adversely affect the fairness of the market and the compliance, steadiness and sustainability of Nu Skin's business development, resulting in the Brand Affiliates and the teams not being able to grow healthily. Therefore, Nu Skin has been cracking down on unauthorized selling on the auction websites. All kinds of product selling through the auction websites are against the Company's Policies and Procedures. Supplying products to the sellers of the auction websites will also be regarded as a violation. Hence, if a Brand Affiliate encounters any suspicious buyers requesting for supply of the Company products, he/she needs to be alert and supervise the whereabouts of their own products to avoid violating the Company’s Policies and Procedures, which may otherwise affect the reputation of themselves and their teams, and lead to the initiation of relevant disciplinary actions from the Company.

Once a Brand Affiliate is confirmed to be involved in violations stipulated above, Nu Skin will take strict disciplinary actions without any leniency. However, since there are numerous sellers on the auction websites, it is difficult, if not impossible, to get rid of all of them at once. Nu Skin understands that when Brand Affiliates try to open market, they will inevitably be hindered by the sellers who are selling on auction websites disrupting the market order. Please do not let it beat you down. Instead, let’s face it with a positive attitude--- it is because Nu Skin products are so popular in the consumer market that those speculators sell Nu skin products on auction websites to make profits. Certainly, selling products through the auction websites is still prohibited, but we hope that Brand Affiliates will not be frustrated and hope Brand Affiliates’ business development will not be hindered by it.

Nu Skin thank all the Brand Affiliates who have been complying with the Company's Policies and Procedures and Nu Skin will continue to crack down on the those who are selling products through unauthorized sales channels, so as to provide a fair and orderly market environment for everyone.
