Occasionally, in order to help friends, apply to become a Nu Skin Brand Affiliate and a member of your team as soon as possible, you may be eager to help handle the application procedures for them. However, we may overlook some details. So, what are the details we have to pay attention to? Please read the following story:

Brand Affiliate Jenny’s good friend Kathy is a Nu Skin product lover. Recently, she disclosed to Jenny that she wanted to apply as a Nu Skin Brand Affiliate. Hearing that, Jenny obtained Kathy’s personal information privately, filled in and signed all contractual documents for Kathy and submitted to Nu Skin for signing up as a Brand Affiliate and a downline under Jenny without Kathy’s prior consent. Jenny thought that since Kathy and she are good friends, it is not unreasonable to help a good friend sign the document and submit it on her behalf.

After reading this story, please take 5 minutes to think about it --- is Jenny's behaviour correct?

Tick tock, tick tock...

Here is the answer. The answer is: Jenny’s behaviour is incorrect. First, Jenny obtained Kathy's personal information privately. Kathy did not provide her personal information for the sake of signing up as Nu Skin Brand Affiliate. Second, contractual documents must be signed by Kathy herself. Jenny could not sign on Kathy’s behalf. Furthermore, Kathy did not explicitly authorize Jenny to handle her application to become a Nu Skin Brand Affiliate. Therefore, Jenny’s behaviour violated Nu Skin's Policies and Procedures and violated relevant laws and regulations of Hong Kong and Macau.

Please keep in mind that never sign any documents for others, and the authorization must be obtained before handling the business matters for others to protect each other’s rights and benefits.
