Nourish the Children
Nourish the Children isn't a charity; it's a smart, for-profit business initiative created to alleviate childhood malnutrition. It provides a framework to maintain a consistent level of food on a sustainable basis.

Why Nourish the Children?

World hunger is on the rise. 1 in 9 people struggle with daily food insecurity. Access to nutritious, sufficient food is a critical human right, and we must protect the most vulnerable among us—our children. More than 850+ million servings of nutritious VitaMeal have already fed hungry children throughout the world. And we're just getting started.

Transforming children’s lives all over the world.

VitaMeal - more than a meal
With Nourish the Children, we tell you exactly what your money buys—nutritious VitaMeal—which you can donate to feed children in need. Because of you, 70,000 children around the world can thrive each day. Many VitaMeal donations are distributed through school programs, which helps motivate parents living in poverty to send their children to school for a free meal rather than keeping them home to work. With every VitaMeal purchase, a donation now goes to the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, increasing your impact.
Together with our family of customers and Brand Affiliates we’ve already provided 850+ million servings of nutritious VitaMeal to hungry children worldwide.
Malnourished children are missing essential nutrients in their diets, which can hinder brain, bone, and immune system development. Most humanitarian food consists mainly of grain, but may lack other nutrients necessary for healthy growth. VitaMeal was formulated by Nu Skin’s nutritional scientists to determine the ingredients and ratios that are best suited for a malnourished child.
Key ingredients of VitaMeal include:
A balance of carbohydrates, protein, fat, and fiber
Essential fatty acids required for healthy brain development, skin health and immune defense.
Electrolytes necessary for maintaining healthy fluid balance and muscle function.
Vitamin A, essential for normal sight and immune functions.
Bone nutrients for healthy growth and skeletal development.
VitaMeal is vegetarian, non-dairy and allows for the easy addition of ingredients.

Here’s how you can help

Since 2002, Nu Skin and its sales leaders, customers, and employees have donated more than 850 million meals to malnourished children around the world. Every day, more and more children are fed thanks to the generous people who have joined our cause. Sales leaders and customers can purchase VitaMeal in either 10 or 30-meal bags and can choose to keep or donate the bags to one of our charity partners.

Meet our charity partners

We can’t do what we do alone. Our reach grows every year, thanks in large part to our charitable partners—Feed the Children and Convoy of Hope. They help transport and distribute donated VitaMeal to malnourished children worldwide.

OUR PROJECTS
Sustainable Products
Our products play a critical role in our sustainable business strategy, from ingredients to packaging.
Nu Skin Culture
We empower our employees by providing opportunities to make a difference.
Nu Skin is a for-profit distributor of nutritional and skin care products and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NUS). Nourish the Children is an initiative of Nu Skin and is registered in some states as a commercial co-venture. The initiative enables Nu Skin’s Brand Affiliates and customers to purchase VitaMeal from Nu Skin and donate it to charitable organizations to help solve the complex world problem of feeding malnourished children. The price of VitaMeal includes the cost of manufacturing, general overhead, distribution and sales. As is the case with other Nu Skin products, Brand Affiliates are paid commissions and Nu Skin earns a profit margin from each sale of VitaMeal.
