The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation Helped more than 1,300 Children in Greater China
May 29, 2013
The Greater China Children’s Heart Fund provides life-saving corrective heart surgeries for underprivileged children suffering from congenital heart disease. The Fund steps in and provides surgeries for children whose families cannot afford the operation. Meet one of the children the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation saved last year.
Eighteen-month-old Liangliang and his mom live in Xinjiang Province, China. When he was born, doctors found two holes in his heart. They told his parents Liangliang would need surgery in order to save his life, but the untimely death of his father left the family with little hope. The Greater China Children’s Heart Fund was able to provide Liangliang with the necessary surgery. Now, he is growing strong and healthy. His family is full of optimism for Liangliang’s bright future.
On average, the Greater China Children’s Heart Fund saves more than one child’s life, like Liangliang, every day of the year. To date, more than 1,300 children in Greater China are now smiling thanks to generous donations from the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation.
