Children attending the elementary school in Gyeongnam Uiryeong Daeui province in South Korea were all smiles as they celebrated the opening of the Nu Hope Library in their community.

In rural South Korea, hundreds of elementary children go without basic education supplies such as books, computers, and other learning tools. To provide hope for a better life for these children, the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation supports the Nu Hope Library project which builds and stocks libraries in schools that do not have these necessary facilities.

Nu Skin Korea recently celebrated the opening of the market’s 12th Nu Skin Hope Library. This new library will be used by the hundreds of children who attend school in the area. Additionally, the library will not only be used as a student study room, but also a local community center enabling all members of the community to gain newfound access to educational materials.

Through Force for Good funds, two libraries have been built each year since 2008. There are currently 12 libraries, and a goal to continue building two every year.
