Make Your Dream a Reality with The Success Formula

The Success Formula provides you the tools necessary to achieve success in both your business and personal life. – There are five fundamental principles to The Success Formula known as Key Success Drivers. Following these five Key Success Drivers will help you maintain motivation and keep you on the path to reaching your goals:

Dream

Every great success started out as a dream. Things such as the automobile, smartphone, or our very own Innovation Center were all once a dream to someone. To make your dream a reality, first use positive emotions to fuel your dreams. Now begin to visualize your dreams by creating a dream board. Find pictures from a magazine or other source that represent your dream, whether it be  a dream home, car, vacation, or even something like more time with family. Follow by pasting these images onto a poster board or in your journal. When your dream board is created, make sure to review it often and visualize yourself obtaining it.

Set Goals

Instead of saying “I want to” or “I hope to” achieve this goal, try stating it with conviction –“I WILL achieve this goal.”  Take this approach in your outlook and goal setting. Follow that by making the goals specific, and determine your top priorities.  When goals have a timeline and are measurable, you will be able to track your progress and recognize when you have achieved them. Don’t forget to celebrate every milestone you cross. Success is at the end of the road you are currently traveling, so don’t give up.

Believe

“I’ve never met anybody who wasn’t superior to me in some way, shape, or form. Everybody seems to have special tools where they have enormous potential, if they can figure out where they ought to be pointed.” – Blake M. Roney

Our thoughts are the catalyst to our actions. No matter how small, our thoughts are constantly moving us towards positivity or negativity. Make sure to convert your thoughts from negative to positive. As you try new things, setbacks will come but make sure to tell yourself that they are a natural part of life and that it is a process of growing and moving forward. As you think about your setback, ask yourself: “What can I learn from this?” and “What will I do better next time?”

Take Action

“It’s not enough just to believe it can happen, you have to take action, you have to take steps every single day to have this belief become a reality.” – Sandie N. Tillotson

Those who achieve and those who don’t have one difference between them, and that is ACTION. Act believing that positive things will happen. See if your daily tasks are contributing to your goals or distracting you. Do you take time to learn, or do you squander it watching TV shows? Carefully consider the tasks you are doing each day. Make the decision to remove tasks that are not helping you achieve your goals.

Lead

Success comes as a result of continually learning and growing, and as a leader you want to motivate others to join you and continue that success. To become a good leader, start by studying other successful leaders. What talents, habits and skills do you see when you study them? Next, look to associate yourself with people that have the same drive as you. If you want to be happy and successful, surround yourself with happy and successful people. As you grow, look to lift others and most importantly lead by example. If people see you contradicting your words with your actions it will affect your credibility.

Being a leader doesn’t just mean that you are successful, but that you help others become successful. Make sure that you are finding ways to serve others, and a deeper happiness will grow as you eliminate selflessness and look for others to help.
