In the Summer, skin needs protection from harmful UV rays and a good cleanser to keep your pores clean from the excess oils your skin produces. By the time Fall and Winter roll around your skin needs to recuperate from the hot summer and prepare for the harsh winter. Fall/Winter Skin Care Tips
You have just enjoyed an adventurous summer with memories that will last a life time! In the meantime, what price did your skin have to pay? Our skin care routine can easily take a back seat during those sun filled months of hiking, swimming, camping, and traveling. Now that the weather is starting to cool off here are a few tips to restore the natural beauty of your skin and prepare it for the dry cold winter ahead:
Moisturize. Use Prennial Intense Moisturizer or ageLOC® Tru Face Essence Ultra Uplifting Cream during the colder months of the year to protect your skin from becoming dry, dull, and looking dehydrated.
Showers. Hot water tends to dry out the skin and hair, especially during the winter months. Take warm showers to reduce the loss of the skin’s natural moisture.
Sun protection. For daily use try Advanced Tinted Moisturizer with sunscreen for sun protection and hydration.
Lip protection. Always have a type of lip balm or chapstick on hand for dry, cracked lips.
Hydrating cleanser. A light, hydrating cleanser is recommended for the Autumn/Winter months. ageLOC Gentle Cleanse & Toner will help maintain skin’s moisture and healthy hydration.
