Your understanding of Company’s policies on Internet Use

Dear Fellows, how long have you been a Distributor of NU SKIN? How well do you know about the regulations to the use of internet in Nu Skin’s Policies and Procedures? Let’s take a look at the following questions to test your understanding! The correct answers are available at the end of this article. Q1. May Distributors claim themselves as “NU SKIN’s employee”  on social networking websites (e.g. Facebook, Instagram etc.)?
(A) Yes. I am running a business in NU SKIN which certainly makes me an employee of the company.
(B) No. I am an independent distributor of NU SKIN, not an employee of NU SKIN.
(C)  Whatever, it doesn’t matter.

 

Q2. May Distributors post before & after photos on the social networking websites?
(A) Surely I can post photos of good-looking guys & girls
(B) Yes, as long as the photos can demonstrate the product benefits
(C) No. Only those photos that have been approved by the company may be used to demonstrate product benefits

 

Q3. May Distributors promote or sell company’s products via social networking websites?
(A) No. Only Blue Diamond Distributors may produce & use their own websites for product promotion if they have submitted License Agreement and registered their websites with the company. However, company’s products can only be sold via company’s website.
(B) Yes. Social networking websites are a convenient tool for product promotion and can reach numerous viewers.
(C) Yes. There are many people sharing reviews of various great products via the social networking websites so NU SKIN products shouldn’t be missed out.

 

Q4. May Distributors sell products via online auction sites?
(A) Yes. Online auction sites is one of the selling tools
(B) Only some of the products can be sold via online auction sites
(C) No, because there are no face to face interaction between the seller & the buyer. This is not a proper way to promote products/business opportunities and keep a long-term business.

 

Q5. May Distributors distribute videos of company’s conferences on the Internet (e.g. YouTube)?
(A) Yes. The conferences were marvelous and worth to share with those who were unable to attend.
(B) No. Such videos are prohibited from posting unless you have obtained permission from the company
(C) Only videos of conferences with over 500 participants can be posted on the Internet
