Nu Skin is a Force For Good in 2016

Nu Skin values being a Force For Good throughout the world and has created many global initiatives to help children as well as underprivileged communities. 2016 saw significant milestones in an effort to help nourish and uplift children who may not have the same opportunities as the top 1%.

 

This year we have reached the major milestone of providing more than 500 Million Meals to malnourished children in more than 50 countries. Greater China Children’s Heart Fund and Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund provided heart surgeries to more than 600 children with congenital heart disease in the past quarter alone.

 

Jia Zichao

Seven-month-old Zichao is one adorable baby whose congenital heart disease was treated free of charge thanks to Nu Skin Greater China Children’s Heart Fund. He was the very first child to receive heart surgery in the Hebei Province, and his family could not be happier to see his successful recovery.

 

 

Nu Sport School

Nu Skin Korea has started a program, Nu Sports School, which is designed to promote children’s health and support their physical education. The School of Agriculture for Family Independence welcomed more than 30 new families to its campus in Malawi, which aims to teach agricultural skills for families to become financially independent.

The Season of Giving has nearly tripled Nu Skin’s VitaMeal donations for December and January, with an extra bag of VitaMeal being donated for every three bags purchased in this time period. This has resulted in over 14,000,000 meals being distributed around the world in the last quarter.

 

 

Nu Skin Pacific has donated their time locally in the 2016 holiday season, testing their face-painting skills at Variety Kids Christmas Party, an organisation that throws a Christmas party each year for disadvantaged or sick children and their families.
