NU SKIN PACIFIC STAFF MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
Being a Force for Good is a core value at Nu Skin and one that translates throughout our culture. It is embedded into the DNA of our global family of employees and sales representatives.
Over the years Nu Skin has achieved many milestones to help make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. We have donated over 650 million VitaMeals, helped thousands of people attend and graduate from the School of Agriculture for Family Independence (SAFI) and embraced sustainable practices to enhance a resource-rich tomorrow. At Nu Skin we are a Force for Good through caring for our planet, improving the lives of children, nourishing future generations and investing in our global community.
2020 has been a challenging year for many and our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the devastating events that have occurred in our backyard. From bushfires, droughts, volcanic eruptions and a global pandemic it has been a difficult year.
To do our bit to help those affected by the bushfires in our local communities Nu Skin Pacific donated $45,475 to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief at the beginning of this year. At our annual Leadership Summit on the Gold Coast in January leaders participated in an Auction where we raised $16,300 for the cause. In addition to this Nu Skin’s Force for Good Foundation donated an additional $29,175.
To celebrate Force for Good day this year Nu Skin Pacific staff wanted to donate their time locally. On Wednesday, 16th September Nu Skin Pacific staff members travelled to the Australian Red Cross Chatswood Donor Centre. Employees donated blood and plasma to help save lives and make a difference. It is amazing to think that such a small amount of time and effort changes the lives of real people currently suffering in our community.
