- Prysm Certification means that our scientists are confident that this product will raise your skin carotenoid score, as measured by the Prysm iO. Carotenoids are a class of important antioxidants and can come from a variety of sources, including fruits, vegetables, and your supplements. If a product is Prysm Certified, then you can expect that using it will increase your scanner score over time.
- If a product has a higher Prysm Certification level, it means you can expect it to increase your scanner score more than a product with a lower certification level. This is based on the quantity and bioavailability of carotenoids in each product. In other words, you should expect to experience larger scanner score increases if you take a Level II Prysm Certified product compared to a Level I Prysm Certified product.

- A lipocarotene is a matrix of carotenoids and fatty acids that enables efficient absorption and transport of these important nutrients. For a fruit, Gâc contains relatively high levels of fatty acids, which create a lipocarotene matrix to deliver highly bioavailable carotenoids. Compared to beta-carotene found in dark green vegetables, beta-carotene from the Gâc fruit has been scientifically proven to be better absorbed.
- Gâc fruit contains a variety of carotenoids, but lycopene and beta carotene are the predominant carotenoids present. Not only is Gâc fruit richer in carotenoids than common fruits and vegetables, but because it delivers these important antioxidants in lipocarotene form, Gâc carotenoid antioxidants are better absorbed than carotenoids from common fruits and vegetables.
