Sandie Tillotson 3-2022

Sandra N. Tillotson

Founder, Senior Vice President

Sandie Tillotson’s heart has always been big enough to hold her boldest dreams. Her definition of bold meant deciding the life she truly wanted – and then, said no to everything that was not that.

In the early 1980s, Sandie was a young wife, mother, and recent college graduate teaching public school. It was there, in that humble beginning, where the introduction to network marketing was made and changed the course of Sandie’s life. Not long after that, Sandie knew she was destined to design something revolutionary - something that would not only transform her own life, but lives stretched across the world. Amid that certainly, she soared head-and-heart first into establishing her own company.

“When we began Nu Skin, our little trio of founders had the audacity to tag it international because our vision from the start was not only to sell innovative products globally, but to improve lives. People and products, in that order.”

Four decades later, with a multi-billion-dollar enterprise standing behind her, Sandie stands motivated by love – love for the work she does, the superior products Nu Skin creates and especially for the people who thrive through the opportunities Nu Skin provides.

A popular public speaker the world over, Sandie’s infectious leadership has won her countless awards and worldwide recognition. Her name frequents lists of Women to Watch, named one of the top female business owners in the U.S. by Working Women Magazine, and awarded the honour of being one of just 50 “Women of the New Millennium” by Feminine Fortune Magazine.

Sandie’s philanthropic endeavours are at the heart of it all. As a trustee for the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, Sandie is an innovating team leader in improving the lives of children around the world by helping to combat disease, illiteracy and poverty. She also serves as vice president of Seacology, an international environmental non-profit organisation that focuses on saving endangered species, habitats and cultures of islands throughout the world. She has used her success to preserve America’s last forestry frontier in the wilds of Oregon.

Whether riding a horse, scuba diving, cattle wrangling, fishing the ocean like she did as a young girl with her father or exploring the world’s most majestic peaks with friends, Sandie’s greatest joy is found in spending time with her family. She is the mother of three daughters and one son, and the grandmother to ten grandchildren with whom she creates a film festival of memories through yearly traditions. From decorating holiday cookies, planting gardens, or venturing through the glaciers of Alaska, Sandie’s favourite crew is her family. They are her true north.

As she continues to contribute to Nu Skin, Sandie’s passion for empowering and inspiring others to realise they are limitless only deepens. She does this with her unwavering innovation and integrity intact, because through all the growth, wonder and possibility, Sandie’s internal motivation has never altered. She is motivated by love, the foundation of not only her business, but her life.
