ageLOC Science

Nu Skin is taking the science of anti-aging to a completely new level by studying the genetic origins of how and why we age. Developed by Nu Skin in collaboration with leading scientists, ageLOC science is based on the discovery of internal sources of aging that contribute to an aging appearance, what Nu Skin calls age-related super markers, or arSuperMarkers.

Based on this discovery, Nu Skin is able to identify critical arSuperMarkers called Youth Gene Clusters, which are functional groups of genes that regulate how we appear to age. This revolutionary discovery is based upon Nu Skin’s exclusive collaborations with leading scientists around the globe, millions of dollars in development, and years of combined anti-aging and genetic research.

Partnership with LifeGen Technologies and Stanford University

Nu Skin formed partnership with LifeGen Technologies, a US-based genomics company with over 30 years of experience researching on genetic basis of aging, to collaborate on anti-aging research that supports the company’s product strategy to target the sources of aging.

More specifically, the relationship with LifeGen adds significant fuel to Nu Skin’s scientific engine with the exclusive advantage to continue to identify youth gene clusters and develop additional proprietary methods to reset gene activity to more youthful patterns.

In addition, Nu Skin and Stanford University will collaborate on anti-aging, developmental biology and dermatological research that supports the company’s unique anti-aging strategy to target the sources of aging. More specifically, the relationship with Stanford gives Nu Skin scientists the opportunity to collaborate with notable and highly credentialed scientists for basic and applied research on innovative insights into why and how skin ages, translate these insights from basic science into human application.
