Thus, Tammy created a Facebook page about NU SKIN, posting cross-reference photos before and after using NU SKIN products, which has attracted many Facebook users to leave messages asking for details on making purchase. In fact, Tammy’s practice has already violated NU SKIN’s Policies and Procedures.
There are policies in NU SKIN for business partners regarding how to use the Internet properly. (Please refer to Section 7 of Chapter 3 of Policies and Procedures: Internet Policy) Products may be sold on the internet only through Company websites and may not be sold through other websites of any kind or any other forms of internet use by distributors, for examples, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Wikipedia, Flickr and so on.
If you maintain a personal Facebook page, you could post information being a NU SKIN distributor, information about NU SKIN events you have participated in, and preliminary information about NU SKIN. However, a Facebook page that is primarily devoted to NU SKIN, that includes posted marketing materials such as videos or before and after photos, or if it is a fan page or similar page that utilizes the Company’s trademarks, would be considered as an Internet Marketing Site, and would be a violation of policy. Therefore, if you would like to post any information about NU SKIN on the Internet, please make sure that you read and comply with the policies of NU SKIN to ensure smooth development of your career in NU SKIN.
