

Cili (Rosa Roxburghii Tratt) is a deciduous shrub that is found only in certain high mountain ranges of southwest China. Cili is a wile plant and has been consumed in China for more than thousand of years. It has been known to have numerous beneficial health-promoting actions on stress and immunity.
The King of Vitamin C
Cili fruit is known as the “King of Vitamin C”. Cili fruit contains 25/g vitamin C which is 10 times more thank kiwi fruit, 46 times more than mandarin oranges, 60 times more than oranges and 450 times more than apples!
Vitamins found in Cili fruits can be grouped into 3 categories:
- Vitamins and Tannin group which include vitamin C, Vitamin B Complex (Vitamin B1, B2, B11), vitamin E and tannic acid
- Trace elements like Selenium and Zinc
- Superoxide Dismutase, SOD and peroxide
Clinical studies of Cili Fruit
Research has shown that Cili fruit can improve the conditions of atherosclerotic, a disease affecting the arterial blood vessel or commonly referred to as a “hardening” or “furring” of the arteries, caused by the formation of multiple plaques within the arteries.
