Sharon Fu had been with Nu Skin part-time for a couple of years before she came to the conclusion as to what her “why” was.
With a close family member falling very ill, Sharon had taken four weeks off from her regular day-to-day business to be with the ailing family member.
At the end of the four weeks, she realized that having to choose between work or stay with the family member was a difficult situation for her to be in.
“That was a defining moment in my life,” she said. “I had to choose between going back to work or seeing someone for the very last time.”
It was during this emotional time that Sharon realized that she didn’t have the freedom that she wanted. She opted to embark on her Nu Skin distributorship full-time in order to open and create more free time and the ability to do those things in her life that she wanted to do, when she wanted to.
“I knew that Nu Skin was the vehicle for me to have that freedom,” she added. “I can do what I want, when I want. I never have to ask a boss if I can have time off.”
With the ability and freedom to manager herself, Sharon has flourished in the Nu Skin opportunity and was a member of the October Blue Diamond trip.
But despite her success, Sharon doesn’t underestimate the persistence and strength that it takes to succeed in the network marketing industry.
“We’re big believers in that you’ve got to work more on yourself,” she said. “The key to success is having drive and determination.”
Sharon feels that a very important part of success in the Nu Skin family is timing.
“You have got to be at the right place at the right time,” she said.
