Bengt Renolen hails from Norway and has been a devoted Nu Skin distributor since his first encounter with a Pharmanex product.
“I had almost an epiphany with one of the products from Pharmanex,” he said. “And suddenly I became interested because of that product.”
But before Bengt got involved with Nu Skin and the Nu Skin opportunity, his wife was introduced to the company by a friend.
“She was very enthusiastic about it and I wasn’t,” he said. “Actually, I was very negative.”
After his wife began making the products available to Bengt and after he began to see the results and success that she was having with the Nu Skin brand, Bengt began to realize that the Nu Skin opportunity was something that could be very beneficial for him to be involved with as well.
“That was my big, aha, moment,” he said.
Before joining the Nu Skin family, Bengt spent his time in the world of advertising where he worked as an Art Director. His time with the advertising company required him to travel a lot and work long hours quite often.
At first, Bengt didn’t mind the amount of work and traveling that his job in advertising required, but before long Bengt realized that there were more important things in his life.
“I like working a lot,” he said. “But suddenly we had kids and then working that much was really not an option.”
Nu Skin has given Bengt the chance to have some his time back. Now with time to spend with his family and time to do what he wants to do, he finds his working life more enjoyable.
Less than a year after quitting the advertising world, Bengt completed the transition into becoming a Nu Skin distributor on a full-time basis.
Now, he points to specific and motivating goals as a channel to success. He feels that the more direction one has towards where they are going, the greater their chances at success are.
“If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there,” he said. “That’s why it’s so important to be specific about your goals.”
