Recycle Right

We designed our Recycle Right resources to help you improve your impact by responsibly disposing of Nu Skin products. Nu Skin is committed to creating recycled, recyclable, reusable, reduced, or renewable packaging, and with your help, we can keep our planet and communities healthy and clean.
Recycling Tips
Rinse products as thoroughly as possible before recycling.
Remove cap, lid and pump before recycling bottles.
Paper, paperboard and cardboard packaging is typically curbside recyclable. Remove labels.
If the number on your plastic containers is labelled 1 or 2, it's curbside recyclable.
Thin plastics such as pouches, sachets, plastic bags, etc. are generally not curbside recyclable.
Most tubes and jars aren’t curbside recyclable due to their layered structures.
Recycling capabilities vary by location so be sure to check your local recycling capabilities.

As we're working to ensure responsible production, we need your help to dispose of all packaging properly.
Plastic - Check your bottle to see what number it has, then check your local facilities to see what they'll accept.
The three arrowed symbol does not necessarily mean a product is recyclable. The number in the symbol is how to identify which type of resin or plastic makes up the container. Most recycling facilities accept PET, HDPE and most PP plastics (labelled as 1, 2 & 5) but are unable to process plastics labelled 3,4, 6 or 7. We are working to ensure that we make our packaging from the most commonly recyclable plastics.
Paper - Nu Skin is working to ensure that our paper-based packaging is recycled or certified sustainable.
While each municipality is different, it's generally advisable to keep paper products clean and separate from any foods, liquids, or other contaminants that may negatively impact their recyclability. Many paper and cardboard types are recyclable, but please check with your local guidelines to ensure you are handling your paper packaging and products to ensure their recyclability.
Glass - Generally one of the easiest materials to recycle. However, check your local recycling facilities to make sure they accept glass. Don’t mix clear glass with coloured glass
**There are many Nu Skin locations globally that accept plastic, paper, and glass recycling if you are unable to recycle at home. Check with your local markets to see what options are available near you.
Beauty Device
Nu Skin devices are built to last. But when the time comes to replace your device, we'd encourage you to check your local capabilities for electronics recycling programmes and recycle your devices whenever possible.

Why are recycling standards different?

To recycle any item, the facility handling it must have the capacity to reprocess or sell it. It is essential to check with your local recycling facilities regarding what types of materials they can accept. If you discover that they are not able to accept the materials you have—check online to learn about hard-to-recycle material drop-off programmes available near you.
