I joined the business in February 2015 with the vision of building a global business. I had no experience in network marketing, but I knew that I wanted to become a professional and be seen as a person who knows what to do and what they're doing.
I don't believe in half measures. I believe in hard work, I believe in planning, and achieving goals step by step.
In my opinion, a very important element of reaching your goals is your own development, systematic work and commitment, because in this industry, more than any other, mentoring matters. I heard from all over the place that my team is a reflection of its leader, and people will do what I do, or worse, copy all my mistakes. Today I know exactly what those words mean.
In the beginning, I did not understand that people are not managed here and that I am not ordering or demanding anything. Only with time did I realise what it means to lead by example. The moment I understood that, like in every industry, I needed a specific goal, a strategy, and, above all, work tools that every human being can easily use, my business gained momentum.
It took some time before I worked out my mechanisms of mentoring an operation. I made many mistakes, but I learned a lot by making them.
The biggest challenges I had to face? Definitely accepting failures, accepting the lack of results, developing in myself amounts of patience unknown to me, accepting that I don't know everything, and humility.
Today I know that my path is determined by faith, absolute certainty and conviction that what I am doing makes sense, and gratitude for everything that has already been achieved.
Appreciating what I have is a very important development and an important skill that I have learned through working with Nu Skin.
When I get questions about what I think determines my business's growth and development, my answer is always the same: A big goal, a precise plan, a great belief in myself and the people I work with, and commitment every day.
Nathan Ricks says 'concentration and consistency are the keys to success in this business'. I agree with him 100%. There is no wonder pill to take and wake up the next day as Team Elite. Instead, there is daily work, development, ups and downs, responsibility for your team and following the direction you choose, not forgetting that this path is the most important!
