Like his business partner and brother, Ty, Scott Bennett was a full-time college student when he joined Nu Skin. He was also a waiter, and he felt the business would give him more flexible hours for school and possibly earn him more income than being a waiter alone could earn him. As his Nu Skin business grew, he knew he wanted to be part of Nu Skin for the rest of his life.


In the beginning, Scott knew nothing about pin titles. He just knew he needed to talk to everyone, especially some of the most successful people he knew. “The goal of building my own business was so big, I was willing to sell the products or put the opportunity out to anyone,” he says. As he has become more and more successful, he realizes his greatest enjoyment is watching others change as individuals and work to achieve a better life. And to him leadership is doing and not talking. “Leadership comes from the Greek translation meaning pathfinder,” he says. “A leader is someone who finds that path and shows the way to others.”  He also advises distributors to have laser focus and to “double your no’s,” because that means you are talking to others and building your business.

To qualify for any pin level you must meet all requirements of the Sales Compensation Plan, including retail sales.  There are no bonuses paid for recruiting.  All bonuses and commissions are paid only when qualifying products are sold.  There are no guarantees of financial success.
