Executive Brand Director

“Helping to transform lives physically, emotionally and financially.”

“What can be better than the insurance industry?” a rhetorical question Rachel often posed to her clients, demonstrating her faith in it being the best business. Having been a successful financial services consultant for over a decade, she enjoyed being able to help clients plan for their financial future and protect against the strain on income due to illnesses, disabilities or death. She had no reason to jump ship. That was until a weighty issue tipped her balance and perspective of what it truly meant to help someone.

Struggling to lose post-partum weight gained from her third pregnancy, Rachel’s quest for fat loss led to a meeting with a friend who introduced her to Nu Skin in 2016. Slimming down rapidly after going on the recommended programme, her downsizing was noticed by the people around her. “They asked what’s my secret so I shared about the products and unwittingly, started the Nu Skin business. Within a very short span of time, my income from Nu Skin was higher compared to my commission from insurance. That prompted me to re-evaluate the possibilities,” Rachel shared. She could have stayed in insurance or venture into Nu Skin. This story tells the better of the two choices she had… and made.

“With insurance, I’m helping clients to get back the money they had, maybe a little more, through saving plans and investments, and delivering a claim’s pay-out when something happened to them. Through Nu Skin, I can help them tap into an opportunity that could potentially earn them an income that has exponential growth for life and the business can be passed on to their next generation,” Rachel reasoned. “Furthermore, with the products, I can help ‘pull’ people away from making an illness insurance claim rather than helping them make the claim.”

Being in the Nu Skin business also added a spark to her relationship with her husband, Ray, who was very skeptical and wanted nothing to do with the business. But after witnessing all the positive changes, the former interior designer changed his mind. Having a shared vision for their family and future brought the couple closer together and allowed them to accomplish much more. “We aim to improve either, or both, the health and wealth of 1,000 families! As a team, we can maintain high standards and spar with each other to constantly be better,” Ray added.

For their Blue Diamond achievement, Rachel and Ray would like to thank Blue Diamond executives Ron Ng & Eve Quek as well as Blue Diamond executive Si Qi for their unwavering guidance, patience and always believing in their abilities to outdo themselves. They are also immensely grateful to their direct sponsors Eileen Kuah & Ken Wong for introducing them the business; Million Dollar Circle members Lee Keem Shiong & Loh Fong Yee for their leadership; and all their business partners for their trust and friendship.

Having felt the power of Nu Skin, Rachel and Ray are even more committed to help more people “insure” their financial future and good health through this awesome business opportunity and effective, innovative products!
