To the couple, the Nu Skin business is not about focusing on sales alone but all about building strong and meaningful relationships. Holding key managerial positions in the education industry prior to joining Nu Skin full-time in August 2012, the husband-and-wife team never thought they would find success in network marketing. “We started as users of ageLOC TR90 Weight Management programme in 2011 and we had no interest nor any reason to leave our jobs. Besides, we had no prior experience in running any kind of business,” Siao Hua disclosed. However, queries from people around them about their weight loss led the couple to share about Nu Skin and Pharmanex products. That casual sharing eventually convinced them to seriously consider Nu Skin as a business opportunity.


“We enjoy sharing the products with people and seeing how their health and appearance improve with time. And as the team grew, with more and more product users joining us as business builders, things turned serious. With the support of our uplines, we decided to qualify for the Executive Brand Director pin title to bring up the momentum of the group. It was a very hard fought but memorable journey for us. We slept very little during that period and doubted the possibility of ever reaching Executive Brand Director. Thanks to the support of everyone in our team, we finally made it!” Siao Hua shares as she recounted the process.


The couple value Nu Skin as a lifestyle changing opportunity. “We treasure the relationship with our business partners who mostly start out as friends. As time goes by, we get to know more people through these partners and we make new friends. Nu Skin provides a platform for us to come together with the people who matter, to make a change together for the better. This is an equal playing field where everyone can achieve as much as the effort you put in it,” says Ching Shiong.


Both at the age of 36, the couple is very glad that they found Nu Skin. They are very grateful to Executive Brand Director Yeow Ching Hwa (Ching Shiong’s elder brother) and Tan Ei Kheng for introducing the business and to all other their upline leaders for their guidance and support. The couple describe Nu Skin as a ‘happy business’ and looks forward to bringing this happiness to more people!
