While hard work and focus are Cassandra’s pathways to success, unconditional gratitude is the key that opens the door to a truly joyful and meaningful life for her. Previously an engineer who worked for international MNCs for the past 20 years, Cassandra had a stable career and financial stability.
She appreciated the stability in her life, but something felt amiss. Monotony was setting in and she began to feel restless and even stuck at times. She wanted a change in her life and was open to new ideas. Above all, she wanted time flexibility to pursue her passions while maintaining financial stability at the same time.
It was at this time she chanced upon Nu Skin through a friend who recommended her the ageLOC TR90 Weight Management program. She gave it a shot and was impressed with the results. From here on, she began to learn more about Nu Skin’s business model and eventually realized that this business opportunity might just be what she was looking for.
She started off on a part-time basis, but as her business and network grew, she felt it was finally time to get into Nu Skin full-time. "It was definitely a big change for me," Cassandra shares. "But I know that to succeed in this business, change is part of the process. Ultimately, I must be willing to see every challenge as opportunities.
A change of mindset was what set everything in motion for Cassandra. She began to do really well in her business and has since fulfilled her initial intention for doing Nu Skin in the first place: to have time flexibility. Just recently, she has achieved the sought-after Executive Brand Director title.
"I really enjoy being able to choose what I want to do now. I can be there for my mother whenever she needs me and take time off to recharge myself," says Cassandra. "In fact, "work" is now about meeting people and building relationships – which, to be honest, doesn’t feel like work at all!"
Teamwork and leadership are also important success factors for Cassandra, especially when the team is growing to new heights. "Everybody comes from all walks of life and have different experiences. It's through good leadership that we can all grow together. I believe a good leader leads by example and always has the team's best interest at heart,” she says.
Throughout her journey in Nu Skin, Cassandra has also learned the value of unconditional gratitude. To her, being grateful for what she has achieved and appreciating all her experiences, whether good or difficult have made her life more wholesome and meaningful. "It's really important to be grateful for everything that happens and not dwell on problems. Only then we can move forward. Always have clarity on your goals and keep reaching for the life of your dreams," she advises.
