“What can be better than the insurance industry?” a rhetorical question Rachel often posed to her clients, demonstrating her faith in it being the best business. Having been a successful financial services consultant for over a decade, she enjoyed being able to help clients plan for their financial future and protect against the strain on income due to illnesses, disabilities or death. She had no reason to jump ship. That was until a weighty issue tipped her balance and perspective of what it truly meant to help someone.

 

Struggling to lose post-partum weight gained from her third pregnancy, Rachel’s quest for fat loss led to a meeting with a friend who introduced her to Nu Skin in 2016. Slimming down rapidly after going on the recommended programme, her downsizing was noticed by the people around her. “They asked what’s my secret so I shared about the products and unwittingly, started the Nu Skin business. 

 

Being in the Nu Skin business also added a spark to her relationship with her husband, Ray, who was very skeptical and wanted nothing to do with the business. But after witnessing all the positive changes, the former interior designer changed his mind. Having a shared vision for their family and future brought the couple closer together and allowed them to accomplish much more. “As a team, we can maintain high standards and spar with each other to constantly be better,” Ray added.
