Q: What is the difference between Out of Stock, Backorder, Last Chance, and Discontinued? 
A: Each term represents a different status or phase in a product's availability: 

Q: Why is this product Out of Stock? 
A: The product is currently out of stock due to high demand or production constraints.

Q: Why is this product on Back Order? 
A: The product is on backorder because it is currently out of stock, but orders are being accepted and will be fulfilled once new stock becomes available.

Q: When will I receive my backordered product? Provides additional information about separate shipping for backordered items and the estimated shipping date.

A: Any item on backorder will be shipped separately to other items on an order at no cost to the customer, when the backordered product arrives.  The estimated date that the product will be shipped is shown on the product page.  Dates can be subject to change.  If there are other products on an order, these will be shipped at the time of purchase.

Q: How long do I have to buy this Last Chance product?

A: Product discontinuation timelines vary by market, so please check with your market representative to get specific dates.

Q: You are discontinuing these products, which I really love. What should I use instead?
A: We are committed to making sure you are always satisfied with your Nu Skin products. So wherever possible we have developed a list of great alternative products that you can incorporate into your daily regimen. In the meantime, make sure to check out our Vera app to get personalised product recommendations.

Q: What if there isn’t a replacement product for the product that I like, which is being discontinued?

A: We’re sorry that these products are going away. In some cases, products are discontinued to make way for future products which offer similar but improved benefits.

Q: What criteria did Nu Skin use to decide which products would be discontinued?

A: Items that have been discontinued were those that Nu Skin felt:

• No longer aligned with our current strategy and/or
• Could be replaced by newer innovations that offered similar, next-level benefits

Q: If leaders and/or customers expressed a desire for a product to be reintroduced, would Nu Skin consider doing so?

A: Nu Skin has put significant thought and consideration into this strategy, and we realise that some beloved products may not have made the cut. However, we are confident that shifting our focus to key products and brands—as well as future innovations—will ultimately benefit Affiliates and customers in the long run. Therefore, we will not be reintroducing products that have been discontinued.

Q: Why do some markets still have products that have been discontinued in my market?

A: If a product has been discontinued in some markets and not others, it is likely because the product has not been meeting the desired sales threshold in particular markets and/or we believe its replacement product will deliver similar—or more enhanced—benefits.
