Ryan

RYAN NAPIERSKI

Chief Executive Officer & President

 

Ryan Napierski is Nu Skin’s chief executive officer and president. He also serves as a member of Nu Skin’s executive committee. Prior to his current appointment, he served as president, president of global sales and operations, president of Nu Skin’s North Asia region and president of Nu Skin Japan. 

 

Since joining the company in 1995, Ryan has fulfilled multiple positions for Nu Skin including vice president of global business development, general manager for the United Kingdom, vice president of European business development, key account manager for United States executives, vice president of business development and chief operating officer for the North Asia region.

 

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in business, a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University and a master’s degree in international business from Goethe Universität in Germany. He also holds positions on the Direct Selling Board of Directors, Direct Selling Education Foundation, Direct Selling Association and The World Federation of Direct Selling Association. 

 

In his free time, Ryan loves to spend time with his family, including his three kids. He also loves traveling, skiing and surfing. 


MARK LAWRENCE 

Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President 

 

Mark Lawrence was appointed Nu Skin’s chief financial officer in March 2017. Mark brings 20 years of operational and financial experience to the role. He recently served as the head of finance for Amazon-Lab126, where he was responsible for the company’s global finance functions and played a key role in the launch of several Amazon devices. In addition, he has held senior financial leadership roles at Silicon Valley-based companies Polycom and Brocade as well as Utah-based Vivint Smart Home.​

 

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Davis. In his free time, ​he enjoys anything BYU, playing golf, and spending time with his family. 


CONNIE

CONNIE TANG

Executive Vice President, Chief Global Growth & Customer Experience Officer

 

Connie Tang joined Nu Skin as executive vice president and chief global growth & customer experience officer in April 2021. Throughout her career, Connie has established herself as a top business leader by focusing on the needs of the customer first, driving transformative digital customer experiences and leading global growth and expansion. 

 

Connie has extensive experience in both beauty and direct selling, including serving as president and CEO of Princess House, president of the U.S. division of JAFRA Cosmetics, vice president of special markets at BeautiControl and board positions at several other companies.​

 

She is a strong advocate for initiatives in diversity, equity and inclusion and has served as an inspiration to many women around the world, mentoring women at all professional levels. She was named one of the Top 50 Asian Americans in Business by the Asian American Business Development Center and is a five-time recipient of the Top 100 Women-led Businesses in Massachusetts as well as a four-time honoree as one of The Most Influential Women in Direct Sales by Direct Selling News. Connie was born in Hong Kong, raised in New York City, and is fluent in Cantonese, Spanish and English. ​Connie holds a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College. 

 

When she is not working, Connie enjoys traveling with her family and spending time with their dogs. She loves Broadway musicals and is a huge Star Trek and Marvel fan, along with anything related to super-hero movies. ​


Joe Chang

JOSEPH Y. CHANG, PH.D.

Executive Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer

 

Joseph Y. Chang, Ph.D., was appointed chief scientific officer and executive vice president of product development in 2006. A prolific author, Dr. Chang has published numerous articles, reviews and books on pharmacological research, including the New York Times best seller, The Aging Myth. With over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries, Joe enjoys a comprehensive knowledge of both of these industries. Prior to the acquisition of Pharmanex by Nu Skin Enterprises in 1998, he served as the vice president of clinical studies and pharmacology at Pharmanex.

 

Prior to Pharmanex, Joe served as president and chief scientific officer of Osteoarthritis Sciences, Inc. from 1991 to 1994 and Binary Therapeutics, Inc. from 1994 to 1997. He has also held various research management positions at Wyeth-Ayerst, Rhone Poulenc Rorer and other biotechnology companies, where he was involved in researching natural products for arthritis and immunosuppressive treatment. He received a B.S. degree from Portsmouth University and a Ph.D. from the University of London.

 

Joe loves to go fishing with his family, even if his wife always catches a bigger fish than him. He’s also a huge fan of the New England Patriots! 


Chayce Clark 2021

CHAYCE CLARK

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

 

Chayce Clark serves as executive vice president and General Counsel of Nu Skin Enterprises and oversees the company’s global legal affairs. He was appointed to his role in August 2021. Chayce joined Nu Skin in 2015 as Assistant General Counsel and later served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel.

 

Prior to joining Nu Skin, Chayce was a litigation attorney at the law firm of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough. Chayce holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Utah University and a J.D. from the University of Utah.


Steve Hatchett

STEVE HATCHETT

Executive Vice President, Chief Product Officer 

 

Steve Hatchett was appointed executive vice president and chief product officer in 2021. He previously served as the Senior Vice President of Global Products and has been a member of Nu Skin’s global management committee since 2018.

 

Steve brings more than 30 years of global wellness and beauty innovation, design, scale-up and manufacturing product experience with him to Nu Skin, including significant experience in the direct selling industry. Prior to his current role, Steve served as Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Value Stream for over two years.

 

Previously, Steve worked at Forever Living Products, Mitsui International and Elevate Health Sciences, a company he founded. He served as a CEO and board member at Cornerstone Research and Development and served as one of the youngest CEOs of a subsidiary of Mitsui. He was recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2008.

 

In his free time, Steve enjoys running and spending time with his family. Any day that he gets to spend time outdoors or in the mountains is a perfect day for him.


JOE

JOE SUEPER

Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

 

Joe Sueper was appointed senior vice president and chief technology officer in 2021 . In his role, Joe oversees Nu Skin's Technology organization and all work that impacts the company's digital ecosystem.

 

Joe joined Nu Skin in June 2019 as part of the company's AWS cloud migration and has served in various roles including vice president of global technology enterprise architecture and senior vice president of global technology.

 

With more than 20 years of technology experience, Joe has worked with several large enterprises, including Amazon Web Services, Dell EMC, and Ball Aerospace. According to Joe, his career highlights include starting and selling his own software company and contributing to the Keplar, HI-RISE, and James Webb Space Telescopes.

 

Joe’s background spans across various engineering, infrastructure, and software domains and has an expansive skillset, including progressive experience in systems design, implementation, integration, consolidation, deployment, and maintenance. One of Joe’s strengths is his ability to build a culture of innovation and merge business strategy to technology execution.

 

In his spare time, Joe enjoys learning about upcoming technology and spending time with his wife and three children. For Joe, any day that can be spent with family and friends, merged with a new technology gadget is a great day!


RUTH

RUTH TODD

Senior Vice President, Chief Reputation Officer 

 

Ruth Todd serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Reputation Officer and has been a member of Nu Skin’s global management committee since 2014. She oversees the company’s corporate communications, social responsibility, sustainability and community outreach initiatives.

 

Prior to joining Nu Skin, she worked as a spokesperson and interfaith outreach manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before that, Todd was an award-winning television news anchor around the country. Throughout her 25-year career in the news industry, she anchored for NBC, CBS and ABC affiliates across the country in Washington, D.C., Phoenix and Salt Lake City.

 

Ruth is active in her community having worked with numerous charity organizations including the United Way, Utah Youth Village, the American Cancer Society and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She served as the Executive Chair of the Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Additionally, she was the Salt Lake Spokesperson for KSL’s “Family Now” Initiative.

 

Ruth currently serves on several community service boards including the Wells Fargo Women in Banking Board, The Thanksgiving Point Institute Board of Directors, the Center for Latter-day Arts advisory board, and the BYU Alumni Executive Board. She is also a volunteer host for the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and serves on the Young Women General Advisory Council for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She received both a bachelor’s degree in communications and an MBA from Brigham Young University.

 

Ruth enjoys visiting new places and learning new things with her family and friends. A native Arizonan, she loves the sunshine and being outdoors. She’s an avid sports fan, music enthusiast, art lover, reader, and is inspired every day by the wonders of nature.


CHARLENE

CHARLENE CHIANG

Regional President East

 

Charlene Chiang is the regional president of Nu Skin East. Prior to this, she served as regional president of Nu Skin Greater China and president of Nu Skin Taiwan. She has also served as the president of Nu Skin Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, general manager of Nu Skin Singapore and general manager of the company’s Pharmanex division in Taiwan.

 

In addition to her responsibilities at Nu Skin, Charlene has been actively involved in many other organizations. In the past, she has served as chairperson of Taiwan’s Direct Selling Association from 2013-2016, chairperson  of Taipei’s Cosmetics Industry Association from 2010-2014, chairperson of the Organization Committee of WFDSA World Congress XIII in 2008, and vice president of the Direct Selling Association of Singapore from 2003-2007.

 

Since 2017, Charlene has served on the WFDSA Association Advisory Council. In 2009, she was selected as a 100MVP Manager by Manager Today Magazine, and in 2010 was named China’s Outstanding Female Entrepreneur by the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs (CAWE).

 

Prior to joining Nu Skin, Charlene worked at a leading advertising agency. She received her bachelor’s degree in Japanese from Fu Jen Catholic University and a master of business administration from National Taiwan University and Fudan University.


Justin Keisel

JUSTIN KEISEL

President, Americas

 

Justin Keisel serves as president of the Americas region for Nu Skin, including North America and South America.

 

He brings more than 23 years of experience in the beauty and direct selling industries and an expertise in overseeing customer-obsessed programs that deliver rapid business growth in dynamic environments. Justin received a Bachelor of Science in International Studies and master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University.

 

When he’s not in the office, Justin enjoys spending time outdoors and watching and playing sports with his wife, five kids and two grandchildren.

VICKY LEEVUTINUN, PH.D.

President, Southeast Asia & Pacific

 

Vicky Leevutinun, Ph.D., serves as president of Nu Skin’s Southeast Asia and Pacific regions. In her current role, she oversees the operation of Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand.

 

During her 26 years at Nu Skin, Dr. Leevutinun has played an integral role in building Nu Skin across diverse cultures and languages throughout Southeast Asia.

 

She served as the president of Thailand’s Direct Selling Association (TDSA) from July 2014 to June 2016. During her time, she helped develop the Direct Selling Ethics which set out to help ensure members of the TDSA uphold high standards to positively impact public perceptions. Currently, she serves as the Asia Pacific representative in the Association Advisory Council for the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), helping promote industry awareness and championing the needs of the direct selling industry for the region.

 

As Chairman of the Board for the Nu Skin Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund (SEACHF), Dr Leevutinun is passionate about helping children with congenital heart disease.  She has worked closely with the Nu Skin distributor force and local charity partners to help save the lives of close to 14,000 children in the region.

 

Dr. Leevutinun is originally from Thailand and relocated to Singapore in 2015 to head the Nu Skin Southeast Asia headquarters. She is married with two daughters.


Mikael Linder

MIKAEL LINDER

President, Europe, Middle East &Africa

 

Mikael Linder is the president of Nu Skin’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He joined Nu Skin as a general manager in 2001 and was promoted to president of the European region in 2006. Since then, the region has expanded to cover Europe, Middle East and Africa, and it now covers more than half of Nu Skin’s geographical markets.

 

Prior to joining Nu Skin, he gained practical experience from various management positions within the direct sales industry, mainly focusing on establishing presence in Asia, Africa and India. Mikael has a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, which he acquired at the University of Stockholm. He has also studied commercial and corporate law at the London School of Economics.

 

Outside the office hours, Mikael enjoys all forms of outdoor activities. In the past couple of years, he has been focused on becoming a better paddle tennis player, a more versatile randonnée skier and an extra patient golf player.
