I was 23 year old and in my final year of pursuing my electrical engineering degree when I was presented with the Nu Skin Opportunity by my sponsor, who is also my brother and sister-in-law, Blue Diamond Executive Lee Keem Shiong & Loh Fong Yee. Being someone who always aspires to have total control and freedom of my own life, I was immediately attracted by the business model of Nu Skin in which I can achieve genuine financial, time flexibility and spiritual freedom. 

 

So I started simply by sharing TRA to the friends and family members around me. When they benefited in terms of health, beauty and confidence, I realized that this is a win-win business, while I provide a sustainable weight management solution to the people around me; I am actually building a pipeline of passive income. So even though I had no sales or marketing experience, neither did I have an extensive network of friends, I made a decision that this business is what I wanted to do for my life.

 

After graduation from university, I received a full scholarship to undergo a PhD research program on cancer related studies, while I simultaneously built my Nu Skin business. After 10 months of being a PhD student, I decided to terminate my scholarship and went into Nu Skin fulltime before attending the US Global Convention in 2009.  Many people around me were surprised by my decision as they felt that I am actually giving up a path towards a much secured future. But to me, that has been the best decision ever made in my life. As I always believe that success is by choice, not by sheer hard work. I could see that Nu Skin is really a life changing opportunity through which I consistently put in my commitment and effort, I can achieve a long term solution that allow me to give my family incredible lifestyle as well. And through a duplication model, I can multiply my time and effort by helping more people to achieve success together.

 

What is even more surprising to most people, my parent gave me 100% support when I decided to terminate my PhD program, and they even joined me in the business and are currently Ruby Executive as well. Having the whole family in Nu Skin business not only allows us to spend more quality time together, but also strengthens our family bonding as now everyone has a common goal and vision to achieve.

 

To me, achieving Executive Brand Director is a milestone that indicates a more exciting chapter ahead in Nu Skin, and I would like to express utmost gratitude to my parent and family members for their never-ending support and encouragement.
