Jasmine Teh joined Nu Skin Enterprises three and a half years ago while she was running a franchise business. “I was very skeptical about the direct selling industry until I came across this remarkable company. “I’m a person who loves freedom and don’t like to be tied down. When I left my job as a corporate training personnel to run a franchise business, I thought I would have more freedom. But having to run my business seven days a week left me wondering if I was living my life. On the other hand, I thought this is the price every entrepreneur has to pay so I shouldn’t be complaining until I discovered the Nu Skin Enterprises business opportunity. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.’ By doing charity work and helping people who are in dire straits, I am giving them fish, and in this business, I’m teaching others how to fish!”

In addition to her business career, Jasmine’s dream is to set up a foundation after her father Teh Say Chooi. “He taught me about charity, he taught me how to give. He inspired me to help more people just like what he did when he was alive. That is the legacy he left behind, and one that I want to continue through the foundation. More people’s lives will be touched I’m sure.”

Extraordinary, that’s how Jasmine describes her journey in this business. “I have received more from this business that I ever thought I would. While there has been plenty learned, the greatest benefit has been the opportunity to work side by side with some of the most caring, knowledgeable and interesting people – my uplines, sidelines and downlines. They have all broadened my views and given me opportunities to grow as a leader and as a person. I am very grateful and thankful for their support.”
