What does a fulfilling life look like? From the experiences of Spencer and Lily, the answer may very well be encapsulated in the word "grace." Living without worries, filled with love and wisdom, naturally leads to a graceful and carefree existence. This high-class demeanor has become their hallmark, attracting many talents to join their team and showcasing the allure of running Nu Skin.

Lily, who always felt that hard work alone wouldn’t lead to success, took over the family business after completing her studies. In the 1990s, when her family immigrated to Canada, they could not take the business with them, and she chose to stay in Hong Kong to manage it. She thought, "If only there were a business I could run anywhere." Later, she met a mentor who introduced her to Nu Skin, which offered the opportunity to develop an international business. Lily also saw successful role models: "At Nu Skin, I met many successful partners who inspired me to become the person I aspired to be, driving me to embark on my Nu Skin journey."

Initially skeptical, Spencer was tasked by Lily's father to accompany her to Taiwan for training, to see if she had made the right choice. Spencer remarked, "I was surprised to discover that many successful professionals were engaged in this business. That trip to Taiwan completely changed my perspective on Nu Skin! I also saw many positive changes in Lily, which inspired me to join her in Nu Skin."

Smart Choices and Facing Challenges

Over their twenty years of hard work, there have been ups and downs. They built their team from scratch, going through phases of starting over. Spencer noted that the main challenges came from people: managing partners' thoughts and relationships is always the biggest hurdle in running Nu Skin. However, the positive couple consistently overcame one challenge after another. Spencer believes, "Challenges mean there are still things to learn; it’s a process of honing wisdom. I’m naturally optimistic, and when faced with problems, I focus solely on finding solutions."

For Lily, it was simpler and more direct. She focused solely on her ultimate goal: to become a successful leader like her mentors while ensuring a secure future. For her, the details in between didn’t matter; if she fell, she would pick herself up and continue to strive for her goals: "This platform is fair; regardless of background, anyone can succeed with hard work. There are countless examples. The important thing is that I made a wise choice with this platform, ensuring my efforts would be rewarded. Since there is a guarantee of reward, every effort is worthwhile."
 

Sincere Connections with Partners

Initially, their personalities were more reserved, and their social circle was relatively small. They sought partners who were mostly new acquaintances. Gaining the trust of new people largely relied on their image and lifestyle. To many, Lily and Spencer are seen as graceful individuals who understand life, embodying the industry’s golden couple. However, Spencer believes the key to attracting people to their team lies in sincerity: "We connect with others from the heart, allowing them to feel that we are wholeheartedly assisting them in achieving their dreams."

In the eyes of their partners, Spencer has a remarkable vision, often responsible for setting the direction and strategy for the team. Meanwhile, the energetic and motivated Lily inspires the team, stating, "When partners experience low points, I remind them of the reasons they chose Nu Skin, helping them rediscover their strengths and reignite their passion." Lily’s incredible drive energizes the entire team, earning her the nickname "the power locomotive." The couple once considered dividing their roles but found that allowing each to play to their strengths naturally fostered collaboration.

Nurturing Talent and Breaking Through

They also prioritize discovering the strengths of their team members, engaging deeply with partners to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and needs, aiming to create an environment where everyone can shine. Spencer added, "We often hold various activities and discuss how to prepare for them, allowing everyone to choose tasks they excel at, which often yields great results and provides a sense of success." Lily believes Nu Skin is a platform where individuals can showcase their talents, and great leaders should create conditions that allow partners to fully express their abilities.

In their team, some have transformed from administrative roles into global leaders, while others have managed to set aside busy work lives to welcome new family members and become entrepreneurial stars. Witnessing partners change their destinies through this platform has deepened their understanding of success. Spencer, reflecting on his youth, once equated wealth with achievement, but now views it differently: "Success isn’t just about wealth; it also includes self-improvement and the ability to help others progress and enhance their lives. I hope to continue using my strengths to help and inspire others, ensuring this influence lasts forever. If I can achieve this, my life will be without regrets."

Now, as Lily and Spencer ascend to the rank of COE III, they view it as a milestone that their hard work has inevitably led them to. This title signifies that many people and families have changed because of them, which is certainly gratifying, but they believe there’s still a need to help more individuals. The journey of helping others is also the journey of achieving one’s own goals. Spencer added, "Every promotion is a personal breakthrough, proving that I’ve accomplished many things that once seemed impossible. The challenges along the way have contributed greatly to my growth." Lily emphasized that this is the greatest reward Nu Skin has given them: "I never imagined I would become a leader, but now I am eager to nurture more talent!" Listening to her words, one can strongly feel her passion for both her career and life.

Demonstrating an Ideal Life

There was a time when the couple had to stay in Canada for an extended period to care for their parents. Spencer expressed gratitude that Nu Skin not only allowed him to dedicate time to this filial duty but also enabled him to face his father’s illness with a positive mindset. In today’s society, few opportunities like this exist to balance various aspects of life, but Nu Skin provides a chance for people to manage their lives comprehensively, enabling them to live peacefully and freely.

Lily candidly stated that everything they currently possess is a gift from Nu Skin. This is a rare platform, and such an ideal life doesn’t belong solely to them; it includes a close-knit group of partners. Lily said, "I hope to gather more with partners from around the world and see our organization succeed, with more partners surpassing themselves. Seeing partners receive recognition is the greatest joy."

At this point, Spencer excitedly revealed an exhilarating dream: he wants to go to space! He explained, "I often tell the team to venture out into the world, using our insights and lifestyle to attract others to achieve grander dreams through Nu Skin. So, the idea of going to space is not just for myself, but to inspire more people." This statement truly exemplifies the spirit of leadership!
