After facing adversity, she joined Nu Skin, which transformed her values and lifestyle. A Smart Choice
Over twenty years ago, Jacqueline was a pharmaceutical agent with a small business where she had to handle everything herself. "I worked seven days a week, with only two days off during the Lunar New Year," she recalls. This hectic lifestyle made it difficult to balance work and family, leaving little time to spend with her children. When she was pregnant with her second child, she decided to have the baby in the United States, which led her to join Nu Skin. "During my maternity leave, I couldn't manage my business, and my sales in Hong Kong and Taiwan began to decline. I realized that I had focused too much on work and neglected my family." This was a wake-up call, prompting her to rethink her unbalanced life and prioritize both family and career.
Jacqueline was introduced to Nu Skin by Ms Vera Waters. "Having used the products with my family, I noticed their remarkable effects. Being a Dedicated Mom
The greatest gift Nu Skin provided Jacqueline was the ability to care for her two sons. In developing her business, she no longer had to work long hours and could plan her time more flexibly, allowing for quality moments with her children. She insisted on spending at least 20 minutes a day with them and made an effort to pick them up from school. "In the past, I was a workaholic and had to rely on tutors, which distanced me from my kids. But after joining Nu Skin, my schedule became more flexible, and I could interact with them more often, strengthening our bond. My sons are happier growing up." Nu Skin emphasizes appreciation, gratitude, and helping others, which influenced Jacqueline to encourage her children and instill positive values in them.
Her sons have also seen her business flourish while maintaining family life, which has given Jacqueline a sense of affirmation. "During the financial crisis, many students abroad were affected due to their parents' work issues. My son was studying overseas at the time, and he sent me a Mother's Day card expressing his admiration for my ability to keep our family financially secure. This really touched me." After more than twenty years with Nu Skin, her greatest joy has been allowing her children to witness her successful career and sharing this journey with them. Time flies, and now her two sons are healthy adults, while Jacqueline has been promoted to COE III, achieving success in both family and career.
Setting an Example for Partners
Jacqueline believes that to inspire collective progress, one must lead by example: "My performance is visible to those around me. When someone genuinely excels, it naturally inspires others to do better. This is why Nu Skin's emphasis on leading by example has created so many success stories, motivating newcomers to improve." She has consistently reminded herself to be a role model, and over the years, she has attracted many partners to Nu Skin, building a large and successful team that many new partners look up to.
