Simplifying the science
The secret to ageLOC Galvanic Spa’s success – and to your youthful-looking skin – stems from our innovative science. The device uses the sort of self-adjusting galvanic current usually seen in professional spas to help deliver the special anti-ageing ingredients you’ll find in our accompanying products.
To put it simply, galvanic current is a gentle, direct current that flows continuously in one direction, like you’d find in a regular battery. The device will automatically set the current to a level that meets the needs of your skin, and depending on the setting you choose, send out either a positive or negative charge. Because our skin is a good conductor of electricity, this low-level current can pass safely and painlessly around our bodies quite easily, making it a great option for skincare routines.
Because, opposites attract
Well, if you’ve ever spent some time playing with magnets, you’ll know what happens when a positive and negative charge meet. Opposites attract, as they say. We applied that same logic when we created the ageLOC Galvanic Spa and broke it down into two steps. If a key ingredient from one of our products is negatively charged, it will be repelled by the device’s negative cycle into the upper layer of the skin, and vice versa.
