Katarzyna Pyszyńska

 

Almost all my life I have been involved in the film industry, I graduated from the L. Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź and I associated my future with my education, but the reality is that many things were beyond my control. Looking for additional income, I went to study pedagogy, after which I was supposed to open a kindergarten and a nursery. I wanted very much to run my own business and have something permanent.

 

In my first year at university, Nu Skin came my way. I had never been in the beauty industry in my life, so I was very excited to get to know the direct selling model and learn what it was about and how I could start sharing high quality products. I was so passionate about Nu Skin and I was very open to new opportunities and hungry for knowledge. I was most impressed with the LumiSpa technology, when I saw the results it could give, and the potential, I had no moment's doubt that Nu Skin was the best business partner.

 

In my work with Nu Skin, I am most motivated when, as a leader, I can see the progress made by the business partners that I work with. When I see the work I do with my team bear fruit: when I witness the growth of the people I work with.  But of course none of this would be possible without the love for our wonderful products that I share with customers every day. I feel tremendous power and responsibility in working with people, but that is what wings me the most. I have been in Team Elite position for 3 years now and my motivation to build my business using digital tools is stronger than ever.

 

I believe very strongly that for achieving amazing things in life you need a good plan! I love writing down my goals, dreams and plans in my work diary. At the beginning of each year, I write out my action plan for the whole year and after I work very hard with full dedication on reaching my goals.

I also write down my goals every quarter, because that piece of paper is a powerful tool. I follow the method of small steps - every three months I set myself small goals, so I act with a concrete strategy.

 

Working with Nu Skin has taught me great modesty, patience, perseverance in my goals and resolutions, but most importantly I have learnt to work with people. I think communicating with customers who have different backgrounds, different experiences, different ages and each with a different mindset is a huge art. I think you become a real leader over time.

 

As a good leader, I have had to learn to be, a good listener, a mediator, a coach, to look for solutions, and to be composed and calm. I think about my business for the long term, I want to do this business for years, not for the summer, so I always ask myself what example I am setting and what role model I am for my team.

I want to build the Nu Skin business on kindness towards myself and the people I work with. I am grateful that I gave myself a chance and discovered my calling.
