Nu Skin Nu Hope Libraries Furthers Education For Children | The Source

More Education for More Children

A group of ten-year-old girls smile and pose for a picture while reading books at a Nu Skin Nu Hope Library in Korea.

Nu Skin Nu Hope Libraries are built to help elementary school children continue their education outside of the classroom. Some children like ten-year-old SooYeon, a third-grade student, haven’t been able to read books in their schools because there aren’t enough books or a quiet space to read them.

Nu Skin sales leaders in Korea saw the need and have helped build 20 libraries throughout the country. With each new library the interior is changed, thousands of new books are donated, educational kits and various technology items to help children learn in new ways. Now, SooYeon goes to her Nu Hope Library every day after school to read and continue her education. “I will read a lot of books and be a great person who can help other people.” she says. Because of the Nu Hope Library Project, SooYeon can dream of her future with hope that she can make it happen.
