Kjersti and Frode

My story with Nu Skin started back in March 2010, Frode joined later on. We are married and have five children between the ages of four and thirteen. I used to work in the hotel business, while Frode worked in a bakery doing night shifts.

At the time I was introduced to the Nu Skin opportunity I was not employed, as I was at home taking care of our youngest son. My dream was to be a full time mum, but unfortunately financial reasons made that impossible.

There was a former colleague who introduced me to Nu Skin. At first, I was sceptical and felt insecure as to whether this was something I could do. My first thought was actually that this is too good to be true! However, I decided to give it a try. I gave myself three months to figure out whether this was something I wanted to do.

I was very lucky, and with the help of great uplines I managed to build a small team during those three months. I started to make money. My husband wanted to help me with the business and begun inviting his friends to presentations as well. When we heard about the Ruby Trip it quickly became an important goal for us, and we decided to make it together.

We reached this first big goal and went on the Ruby Trip in February 2011. The trip made us realise just how big this opportunity was. At this point we made another goal; to make Frode be able to quit his night time job. We have now reached our goal to become Blue Diamonds in 2012, and we are both working full time with Nu Skin.

It has been vital to us to include our children in this process, as we feel it is important that the whole family work together as a team. This way we will be able to reach the goals we have set together. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who believed in us, both uplines and frontline – they believed in us even more than we did ourselves! We could not have been where we are today without the amazing team we are so lucky to be a part of.

As one of my colleagues says: The future is so bright that we’ll need to wear sunglasses!
