I'm a social educator with additional qualification on top. For the last 10 years, I have been working in a 150% position as well as running a company with garden designs. In September 2012, a friend of mine introduced me to the ageLOC Edition Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System II. I thought, if only half of what she is saying is true, I want this!
By using the products myself, I quickly discovered the results and instantly felt that this is something EVERYBODY will want to have! I asked for the Business Builder Kit as well. I participated in the Nu Skin event in Fredrikstad and Kick-off Meeting in Oslo. I wanted to learn as much as possible.
I thought about our lives and what it would look like 10 years from now, provided I kept doing what I was doing. Then I thought about how our lives could be if I spend the next 10 years focussing on the Nu Skin opportunity. I knew that my job in the National Health Service wasn’t able to give me what I wanted, so I made my mind up. My husband was given the choice to either support me or keep quiet. I felt that he didn't have enough information to have an opinion about this. I promised my children that I would buy them something they wanted when I reached Ruby. They probably thought I was mad, but they supported me. And with good uplines, it was full speed ahead from day one. Invite, invite, invite; present, present, present. I entered Letter Of Intent (LOI) in September 2012. By February 2013, I was Ruby and the children had their wishes fulfilled. It is important to involve the children.
Because of Nu Skin, I decreased my job by 50% and now work 100%, which leaves 50% for Nu Skin. Since I became Ruby, my focus has been on helping the team. I have one Ruby in my frontline and I am currently working on helping a second one reach this target too. It is important for me that the ones I share the opportunity with reach their goals as well. Today, we are working to prepare for the next Limited Time Offer where I want my team to benefit fully from helping others.
I keep my goals in sight every day and find new goals as well. I always find new reasons for working with Nu Skin. What some people might consider as an excuse is for me a reason to work to reach my targets. My main target is to secure our retirement and the future of my children. To be able to do this while helping others is amazing.
A lot of people ask me how I find the time to work with Nu Skin, but the reason I’m doing it is to take back time. We all have the same amount of time; we just fill it with different things. It is not like I have time for everything, but I prioritise. It is not always clean and tidy in our house, I do not bake homemade cookies, and I can't see all of my son’s hockey matches or my daughter’s dance lessons... But if I don't spend time working with Nu Skin now, I won’t be able to give my family all the help I want to give them in the future. This is why I’m more afraid not to work with Nu Skin, than to actually do it. I do it for my family.

I'm learning from those who have done this before me, there is no need to reinvent the wheel. I don't listen to those who haven't succeeded. I take part in trainings, events, conventions, webinars, etc., something that has made me 100% confident with the company, the opportunity, and the products. The opportunity we have to offer is invisible and we need to tell others about it. When participating at seminars, I learn a lot and become more confident about the job I'm doing.
