Craig Tillotson has been with Nu Skin since its early days. As he has watched and helped the company grow, he has learned many things about what it takes to be successful. One of the most critical aspects is finding the right vehicle. “You could be the hardest worker in the world but if your vehicle doesn’t contain the mechanics for building success, you will be limited and frustrated,” he says. He feels Nu Skin’s longevity and over $1 billion annual revenue, as well as its growth potential thanks to its powerful ageLOC line, offer people an exciting window of opportunity.

 

Key to catching this “wave” of opportunity is to be 100 percent committed. “People follow leaders who are committed ... If you are unsure where you are going, good luck getting people to follow you.” Radiating confidence is also important. And that, he believes, requires “feeding and guarding” your attitude. To him, a negative or doubtful attitude just makes the business harder. He also advises distributors to perform actions they expect their team to duplicate. “As goes the leader, so goes the team,” he states.

 

As Craig continues to share Nu Skin with people, he places an emphasis on having fun. “Life is a journey, so enjoy the trip,” he says. “Have fun and people will gravitate to you and your team.” It’s also important to work with like-minded people who share your values and goals. “Spend 90 percent of your time with ‘gold ships,’” he advises. “Once one of these gold ships takes off and you see duplication firsthand, you will understand the business.” Craig sees many people ramping up to catch Nu Skin’s current wave of opportunity. “If they can do it, so can you, so start paddling and we will see you on all of the best beaches.”
