Matt & Resa Salter

Resa Salter from Novato, California, joined Nu Skin because she wanted to make a good income, be home with her two young sons, and love her job. At the time, Resa was working as a day care provider, watching eight children under the age of three in her home. Her husband, Matt, worked long hours as a sales manager for a commercial textile company—and could not see the potential Nu Skin offered. Eventually, however, he realized Nu Skin could give them the time and financial freedom they were both seeking, and by 1990, he was enthusiastically helping Resa build their business.

 

Initially, Resa’s motivation for sharing Nu Skin with others was her love of the products; she thought everyone needed to experience their superior benefits. It took her a year to reach executive level, but in the process, she learned a lot about herself and gained a solid belief in the company. At her first convention, Resa grew confident in her ability to be successful. She went home with a new goal—to reach Blue Diamond. To grow their team, Matt began to travel internationally, and credits this experience for teaching him how to lead people. Today, he and Resa continue to build their business by finding talented people who are at the right time in their lives to embrace the Nu Skin opportunity. They remain very active—Resa hosts accountability calls every weekday morning, and both participate in corporate calls, meetings, and events on a regular basis.

 

Resa and Matt also make sure the Nourish the Children (NTC) initiative and Force for Good programs are part of every conversation they have with distributors and customers. They proudly serve as NTC Chief Ambassadors and encourage others to get involved with this life-saving cause.
