Brittany Mesmer had no problem understanding how Nu Skin could change her life; she was only 6 months old when her parents, Linda and Russ Karlen, became distributors. After observing their efforts, traveling with them, and using only Nu Skin products, she was a true child of the company. She became a distributor at age 18, and when she finished college devoted herself toward building her own Nu Skin business. Through her hard work she became one of the company’s youngest Team Elite Executives. Matt was working in the banking industry before Brittany convinced him to take a hard look at Nu Skin in 2008. He soon realized Nu Skin offered a superior business model and was well worth pursuing.


Making a difference in people’s lives was a powerful “why” for this dynamic couple. When their son, Matthew, Jr., was born, they added a new “why” for growing their business. Brittany says the Blue Diamond trip is one of her favorite memories since she built life-long friendships with others on that trip, many of whom advanced to Team Elite with her


Even though Brittany literally grew up in the business, she knows how important it is to attend events, listen to training calls, and implement the success tools provided by the company. One of the most important lessons Brittany learned from her parents is to say, out loud, “Next!” when a person is not interested in the business. This positive attitude has helped the couple lead a rewarding life , and they give back by purchasing and donating VitaMeal through the Nourish the Children initiative and helping others fulfill their dreams.
