Nourish the Children® – a unique concept
Nourish the Children® (NTC) applies the rigour of successful business practices to provide a consistent and growing supply of nourishing food to the world’s most needy children. In August 2016September 2015, the NTC initiative surpassed 500 million meals purchased and donated to malnourished and hungry children around the world, since the initiative was established. Today an average of 5 million meals is donated each month on an ongoing basis, feeding more than 150,000 hungry children around the world.
Why Nourish the Children?

Nu skin celebrates 600 million meals donated to malnourished children through its nourish the children initiative
In August 2018 Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. is celebrating the milestone of 600 million meals purchased and donated through its Nourish the Children (NTC) initiative since its founding in 2002. Malnourished children receive VitaMeal®, a nutrient-dense food from one of NTC’s third-party charity partners after Nu Skin sales leaders, customers and employees purchase and donate the bag of food.
“More than 130,000 malnourished children are fed around the world everyday thanks to the generous donations of the Nu Skin family,” said Steven J. Lund, executive chairman of the board and executive director of Nourish the Children. “We are grateful to all those who support the Nourish the Children initiative and realize that much more still needs to be done. I am hopeful that together we can continue to make a difference in the lives of children and provide them hope for a brighter future.”
Throughout the initiative’s history, Nu Skin’s charity partners have reported that VitaMeal purchases and donations have helped children in more than 50 countries.
