Melisa Tantoco Quijano
President, Asia Pacific
Melisa Tantoco Quijano serves as President of the Asia Pacific region overseeing 13 countries and nearly 800 employees. During her 18 years in Nu Skin, she served in various leadership capacities such as Regional Marketing Director for SEA, General Manager for Nu Skin Thailand and Malaysia, Vice President for Global Market Services based in the company’s headquarters in Utah, USA.
In 2010, Melisa was named as the Best Asian Executive by the prestigious International Stevie Awards for leading Nu Skin Southeast Asia as the fastest growing region in the Nu Skin world. The award recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners and the organizations they run. She was also one of the 3 finalists in the prestigious Women In Leadership award in 2013.
Melisa Quijano has a vast knowledge of Nu Skin’s Asian operations, as well as the direct selling industry in Southeast Asia. Melisa is serving a second term as a member of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) Advisory Council for the Asia/Pacific region, a position she has held since 2011. She was also a member of the association's Ethics Committee from 2011-2013. She serves as an honorary board member of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation of Thailand, a board member of the CHILD Foundation in the Philippines and a board member of the Southeast Asia Children's Heart Fund.
Before joining Nu Skin, Melisa worked in other multinational consumer companies and direct selling companies. She has nearly 35 years of management experience with a solid track record of growth. Melisa is married to Anthony Quijano and has two children, Carl and Lia. She graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and was a university scholar.
Vice President, Southeast Asia
Vicky Leevutinun, Ph.D., serves as vice president of Nu Skin’s Southeast Asia region. She has spent more than 20 years in management positions at Nu Skin and assisted in opening the Malaysia and Thailand markets. In her current role, Leevutinun oversees the operation of Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam. Leevutinun currently serves as the president of Thailand’s Direct Selling Association and as the chairman of the Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund.
Leevutinun earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Chulalongkorn University and a master’s degree in business administration from Brigham Young University. She recently completed a doctorate of philosophy degree in technopreneurship and innovation management.
Kany Virgo Soemantoro
President, Nu Skin Philippines and Nu Skin Indonesia
Kany became the President of Nu Skin Philippines in May 2012. Prior to that, he is already serving as the President of Nu Skin Indonesia.
Kany joined the company since the opening of Nu Skin Indonesia in August 2005 as the head of Sales Development and Distributor Support. In 2007, he became the Director of Distributor Success and Market Operations of Nu Skin Indonesia.
During his tenure with the company, Kany has developed strong relationships with distributor leadership with a solid understanding of the business.
Before joining Nu Skin, he worked as General Manager for Scholastic-Grolier Indonesia, an American publishing and multi-media company. He brings with him 8 years of experience from Oriflame Indonesia, a Swedish direct selling cosmetic company as Head of Sales and Marketing Department. Kany earned a B. Arch. from Trisakti University in Jakarta and M.B.A. from Baldwin Wallace College, Ohio, USA.
