On 4 February, 2016, the Anti-aging expert - NU SKIN sent 12 volunteers from the NU SKIN Volunteer Team to lead 16 kids from the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (http://www.hkspc.org/), visiting the Chinese New Year Fair at Fa Hui Park to experience the joy of Chinese New Year. The kids were excited, curious and learnt a lot about the customs of Chinese New Year from our volunteers. After the tour at the Chinese New Year Fair, the volunteers and kids went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. Everyone had a lovely afternoon.

The NU SKIN volunteers who attended the activity are as below (listed not in sequence): Serina Tan (Captain), Henry Kwok (Vice Captain), Valent Ng, Jasmine Chu, Wendy Cheng, Wong Suk May, Frederick Cheung, Eiko Ho Lai Fong, Iris Yu and Anthony So. Thanks for some of their sharing as below:

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to participate in this volunteer activity. The children are lovely and they are happy to go out-door. It is such a memorable event for me,” Valent Ng said.

“I was very grateful to join this volunteer activity. We could deliver love to the children. I hope I can have more opportunities to help the needy,” Jasmine Chu said.

“It is worth to spend a morning to share happiness with the kids. It was memorable and meaningful,” Henry Kwok said.

“Having a happy family is not inevitable. However, those children are still full of joys and hope. They show love and care to each other. It is great that they are educated and polite! Hoping that monthly visits of NU SKIN volunteer will bring love, warmth and hope to the kids. Bless them!” Serina Tan said.

“Thanks Eiko for inviting me to join this meaningful activity. As a mother, I know how important of parents’ love to the children’s growth. I can feel the power of love after going to the flower market and having lunch with a two-years-old kid. I hope they can have happy and healthy lives.”  Wong Suk May said.

“It is so happy to bring love to kids because they are lovely. The world will be great if everyone is as lovely as kids,” Frederick Cheung said.

“I am happy to play and have lunch with the children. It is warmth and sweet. I want to have more chances to join this kind of volunteer activity,” Eiko Ho Lai Fong said.

“It is glad to join this activity. This activity provided children experiences of visiting the flower market and created warmth to them. I hope these lovely kids can have happy, healthy lives and be able to contribute to the society in the future,” Iris Yu said.

“I am happy that I learned a lot in the event and brought happiness to the children. I hope I can participate in this meaningful activity more frequently,” Anthony So said.
