Nu Skin Hong Kong Awarded at GS1 Hong Kong’s ‘Consumer Caring Scheme 2016’ for the Second Consecutive Year

This is the 2nd consecutive year for Nu Skin Hong Kong to be named “Consumer Caring Companies” for the commitment to excellence in product quality and service to consumers, which has presented by Ms Salina YAN, JP, Director-General of Trade and Industry of the HKSAR. The award presentation ceremony of ‘Consumer Caring Companies 2016’ was held during the GS1 Hong Kong Annual Members Dinner on January 12, 2017. Mr Nicholas Yang, JP, Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the HKSAR was invited to be the guest of honour. Other winners include Hongkong Post, 3M Hong Kong Ltd, Nestle Hong Kong Ltd, etc.

 

The Consumer Caring Scheme aims to recognise companies that use international standards, information technology, and the optimisation of supply chain management to improve business processes to enhance consumer satisfaction. Judging is based on seven core consumer caring values, including consumer care, sincerity, commitment, product quality and safety assurance, service quality understanding consumer behaviours and caring for employees. A stringent performance evaluation is also made of each company entering the scheme including company visits and a consumer survey which were carried out fairly and professionally. A further criterion is to assess all applicants’ consumer care measures and performances according to a scorecard based on the Efficient Consumer Response (ECR), an internationally recognised business best practice aimed to achieve customer satisfaction through collaboration between businesses and trading partners.
