Recreating the Stories of Superheroes Illustrated
September 11, 2015
Anti-aging expert NU SKIN has become the Hero Sponsor of “Youth & Children Illustrated Story book Competition 2016”, co-organized by Dialogue Experience and Ohmykids. The theme of this year’s competition is “Super Heroes”, which aims to help our contestants to further understand and appreciate the “People of Differences” through a series of experiencing activities, hence reminding them that the disabled are also capable of being our “Super Heroes”. NU SKIN never disappoints the public in providing children care service; this competition does not only present a platform for youths to show their creativity, but also contributes to foster social cohesion by encouraging mutual understanding among our next generations.
Bringing benefits to people around us through human interactions is always one of NU SKIN’s mottos. Most disabled persons possess talents that are often overlooked by others despite their handicap. Yet, NU SKIN sees their difference demonstrated. Along with NU SKIN’s continuous passion in our “Force for Good”, we thoroughly support the “Youth & Children Illustrated Story book Competition 2016”.
After 6 months of serious preparation, we are delighted to announce the grand opening of this event. The application period begins from September 1 to 30, 2015. There are 3 categories, including the Children group, Youth group and Open group. Different from other competitions, our participants have to join the Darkness and Silence Workshop provided by Diagolue Experience and the Master Class taught by professional local illustrators first, before submitting their work. $150 registration fee will be charged per contestant, which includes the cost of a Dialogue Experience and the Master Class. NU SKIN will sponsor the full application fee for eligible families of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA). NU SKIN will sponsor the winning illustrators to publish their own story books to realize their dream.
“Youth & Children Illustrated Story book Competition 2016” receives enthusiastic supports from all sectors of the community, including our media partner Commercial Radio and publishing partner White Paper Hong Kong. The organizer is also honored to be able to invite Mr. Jan Lamb, famous local artist, to be the Super Hero Ambassador of this year. The champion of each category, along with Mr. Jan Lamb, will publish their art works for future Charity Sale that raise funds for the handicapped in need.
What are you waiting for? Share this message and invite youths around you to participate in this meaningful competition! Together, we can spread the “Force for Good” of NU SKIN among our community and raise attentions to the People of Differences around us.
