NU SKIN improves people’s lives as we always focus on research and development of innovative products. This year, NU SKIN has invited Prof. Gunter Pauli, the initiator of The Blue Economy, being in Hong Kong to share his views in the 2015 Master Forum. Prof. Gunter, whose thinking is always beyond age, will show you how to apply disruptive innovation to create a better world with innovative thinking by combining the ecology, economic growth, and the blue innovation power which can create more job opportunities.


Different from the past years, NU SKIN has the new format this year. NU SKIN has invited different professionals, from the field of commercials, social enterprise, and academia, to be the speech guests of Innovation Forum. They include Professor. Kevin Tsui, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Clemson University, Mr. Francis Ngai, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Social Ventures Hong Kong, and Mr. Andrew Fan, Regional President of NU SKIN Greater China. They will also join a panel discussion with Prof. Gunter Pauli.

Local experts and academia in the field of innovation

Facilitator Professor Andrew Chan,
the Director of EMBA Programme in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK))

Professor Andrew Chan was awarded SBS and JP. He now serves as the Director of EMBA Programme in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). On 1 July 2010, Professor Chan took over as the Dean of Shaw College, CUHK. Professor Chan excels in teaching and was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Exemplary Teaching Award in 2001 and 2009. Professor Chan has rich experience as a facilitator and has his own incisive views. He has arranged and managed different management training courses, public forum, and professional seminars for Chinese, Hong Kong and foreign enterprises. Since 2003, he has been the host of the radio programme of Talk To CEOs and New Thinking in Management.

Professor Kevin Tsui, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Clemson University

Professor Kevin Tsui graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science Technology and received his PhD degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor Tsue’s research interests include Resource and Environmental Economics, Internet Economics and Industrial Organization.

Prof. Tsui was the Guest Professor of Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research. He also was invited by the University of Chicago to be the speaker in the Petroleum: Prospects & Politics conference. Recently, he has also been invited to give speeches in the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong regarding the economic and environmental implications of fuel mix for electricity generation in Hong Kong. Tsui is also a regular columnist for the Hong Kong Economic Journal and am730.

Mr. Francis Ngai, Founder and CEO of Social Ventures Hong Kong


Mr. Ngai has over a decade’s experience in the commercial sector, mainly from the marketing field. In 2007, he gave up his well-paid job at a telecom enterprise to establish the “Social Ventures Hong Kong”. Venture philanthropy in 2007 was a pioneer concept and so people were skeptical at first. Luckily, Mr. Ngai was determined and worked towards his goal step by step. With his effort, more and more people participated in social entrepreneurship and a social culture was created. He was also able to obtain contributions from the well-known figures in town.

Social Ventures Hong Kong successfully established more than 10 social enterprises such as Diamond Cab, LightBe affordable housing, Run Our City, and CookConnect, etc. The aim is to enhance social change in Hong Kong through venture philanthropy.

Mr. Andrew Fan, Regional President of NU SKIN Greater China

Mr. Andrew Fan has nearly 30 years of experience in the direct selling industry in the Greater China region. He is currently the Regional President of NU SKIN Great China and directly oversees the markets of Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.

Mr. Fan, one of the founders and first staff in the Asian market of NU SKIN, has explored and managed 12 Asian markets for the group since 1991, including: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, Taiwan, Jakarta, Tokyo, Seoul, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. In 2007, Mr. Fan (the President of South East Asia Market) was appointed to be the President of NU SKIN Greater China. He spent a year to re-structure NU SKIN Greater China. In 2 years, Mr. Fan has already established a stable foundation for the Greater China market.
