Trip to a Supermarket
On April 16, one of our Volunteer Teams with 5 people brought 15 children from the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children to a supermarket at New Town Plaza in Shatin. Going to supermarkets maybe an uninteresting routine to many, but for underprivileged children it was a precious learning opportunity. They got to learnt about different food and daily commodities as well as the buying procedure during the visit, thus broadening their horizons and enhancing their knowledge. After having a lunch in a Chinese restaurant, this meaningful activity came to an end. Both the volunteers and children felt very warm and satisfied.
