USC scientists use Pharmanex ingredients to show health benefits of green tea

Pharmanex's green tea extract was the focus of a study conducted at the USC Center for Human Nutrition on the health benefits of green tea. The study, entitled "Green tea extract and (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate inhibit hypoxia- and serum-induced HIF-1A protein accumulation and VEGF expression in human cervical carcinoma and hepatoma cells," was published in the May, 2006 edition of Molecular Cancer Therapeutics. The study focuses on the astonishing health implications of green tea extract and its major component epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG).

Scientists at the USC Center use (and have used in the past) Pharmanex products to conduct their research because Pharmanex products maintain the highest standards of quality and purity. Every batch of every Pharmanex product—regardless of the country in which it is sold—undergoes the same rigorous checks by Pharmanex scientists as established in the Pharmanex® 6S Quality Process; our immutable standards that ensure safe, quality products that are scientifically substantiated.
