Maria Gracia Briceño and Clemente Lozano decided not to settle for anything less than fulfilling their goal of creating balance between their family and a rewarding career. In their homeland of Venezuela, they both had satisfying corporate jobs, but the more they advanced in their professions, the less time they had at home. Maria came home too many nights when their young daughter was already asleep, and she knew this wasn’t the life she wanted.


The couple began looking for the ideal career while they planned their immigration to the United States to “start over.” Maria’s dream was to be home every day at 3 p.m. when her daughter came home from school. Determined to find a profitable career that would give her more flexibility with her time, she knew when she discovered Nu Skin that this was the perfect business. In the beginning, since their sponsors were in another country, they relied heavily on Nu Skin’s support system that helped them learn to have empathy, focus, discipline and to put excellence at the forefront of their actions. Once Maria and Clemente’s team adopted a new duplication model that included a focus on selling products to customers, the couple’s organization began to show solid growth.
