| A Force for Good Back-to-School Supplies Drive for the benefit of CHILD Foundation Inc. 5 June 2015 (Friday), 10:00 AM - 12:00 NN at the ERC Room 220 of the Philippine General Hospital |
Each year, the Child Health in Life and Development (CHILD) Foundation of the Philippine General Hospital’s Department of Pediatric Cardiology caters to over 10,000 children--many of them afflicted with serious illnesses including congenital heart disease (CHD). These children also belong to indigent and low income households, yet strive to lead normal lives and look forward to the incoming school year, all despite their economic status and while waiting in line for their sponsored surgery. This year, we encourage you to champion the right to education by taking part in our Force for Good Tulong Balik Eskwela 2015--a school supplies drive for the benefit of CHILD kids diagnosed with life-threatening CHD. Get to know them on the turnover program on June 5, 2015 (Friday), and spend Force for Good day by being a light of hope to these brave children, equipping them with what they need for their schooling. Here’s how: |

1. Purchase the FFG Tulong Balik Eskwela 2015 ticket for Php 600 each (inclusive of school bag and school supplies for one (1) child, and donor lunch). Tickets are available in all Walk-in Centers starting May 7, 2015. School supplies include: |

Write your name on the sticker that comes with your FFG ticket, and stick it on the pledge banner at our Ortigas Walk-in Center, signifying your commitment to helping the kids of CHILD through Tulong Balik Eskwela. You can also put the sticker on the banner during the turnover program. 3. Join us for the official supplies turnover program on June 5, 2015 at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), and get ready to enjoy an afternoon with the kids of CHILD as well as tour the pediatric ward of PGH. Program starts at 11AM. |
