Utah Business Magazine Recognizes Nu Skin's CEO

Truman 100

Utah Business named Truman Hunt one of their ‘100 Most Influential People’ in their January issue. In the article, Truman was highlighted for his exceptional work as Nu Skin’s CEO and as former chairman of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations.

Those named to the list are identified by an independent community board and are considered top decision makers who are key players in the state’s economic and social climate. Hunt was named alongside Sen. Orrin Hatch and Jon Huntsman, Sr., noted philanthropist and founder of Huntsman Corporation.

Blake Roney, who also has made this list previously, shared his thoughts of Truman and congratulated him for this recognition.

“Truman is an invaluable leader at Nu Skin and highly deserving of this recognition,” said Blake. “He is a rock star, they should induct him there while they are at it.  Since taking the helm of Nu Skin as CEO in 2003, he has led the company to surpass $1 billion in annual revenue, led international expansion efforts and developed an innovative culture that has developed breakthrough anti-aging products. Yet Truman’s influence also goes far beyond company spreadsheets as he embodies and fosters a ’force for good’ culture that is improving hundreds of thousands of lives every day. Truman is amazing."

Under Truman’s leadership, Nu Skin has generated three straight years of record-breaking revenue, including record-breaking annual revenue of $1.54 billion in 2010, a 15 percent improvement over the prior year. 2010 was also highlighted by the company’s biggest product launch in history with ageLOC Transformation daily skin care; creating Nu Skin’s 700th career million-dollar earner; and reaching the milestone of more than 200 million meals donated through the company’s Nourish the Children initiative.

In addition, Nu Skin was recognized by Forbes as one of “100 Most Trustworthy Companies” and in 2009 stock price increased more than 150 percent. Nu Skin has also been recognized by Utah Business as one of the “Best Companies to Work For” for two years in a row.
