Nu Skin Moves Forward with Downtown Expansion

Plans Include New Corporate Building, Plaza and Atrium

Provo City Council members recently voted to vacate 100 West between Center Street and 100 South, signaling to Nu Skin to move forward with its downtown expansion project. The company plans to construct a plaza and atrium linking the corporate headquarters with a new corporate building.

“We appreciate the city council’s decision and look forward to expanding our corporate headquarters in downtown Provo,” said Truman Hunt, Nu Skin president and CEO. “We recognize the great potential of this expansion project and the important role it will play in helping to revitalize downtown, generate economic development and provide additional green space for Provo.”

Nu Skin also announced that it has retained world renowned architectural firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson to design the new innovation center and plaza. Bohlin Cywinski Jackson has received more than 420 regional, national and international awards for design. The firm has a proven track record of melding modern spaces with historic architecture and previous clients include Apple, Yale University and Pixar Studios.

Architectural drawings for the expansion will be available in approximately eight weeks. We will post these on The Source as soon as they are made available.
